For 12 years, the CF Circus has been Iowa’s premier functional fitness competition, bringing together athletes of all ages and abilities for a weekend of community, challenge, and unforgettable memories. Over the years, we’ve hosted thousands of athletes, welcomed nearly 2,000 spectators annually, and given away more than $250,000 in prizes, cash, and giveaways.

And now, under the leadership of a new group of Ringleaders, the Circus is entering a new era. Expect everything you know and love: the wild events, the high-energy atmosphere, the camaraderie… but with a few more twists and turns.

2026 details:

• Format: Same-Sex + Mixed Pairs, RX/Intermediate/Novice

• Where: Ignit, 200 SE 37th Street, Grimes, IA 50111

• Vendors: You will have an assigned booth, and can set up either Friday afternoon/evening OR Saturday morning

• Spectators: Admission prices/times will be posted prior to event

• Time (detailed schedule will be posted closer to event):

  • 1/23/26

    • Early bird check-in and Live Standards Briefing on Friday afternoon/evening

  • 1/24/26

    • Events will begin no later than 8:30am - each division will complete 2 events wrapping up no later than 7:00pm

  • 1/25/26

    • Events will begin no later than 8:30am - each division will complete 2 events wrapping up no later than 4:30pm
